Flagship Client Deployment
Custom Android APK builds for Benloso Building Hub adhere strictly to enterprise multi-warehouse isolation and role-restricted cashier auditing.
SECTION 1

1. Scope & Platform Overview

KenIT Solutions POS ("we", "us", or "our") provides enterprise retail cloud management systems, web administration portals, and Android counter terminal applications, including custom builds deployed for flagship partners such as Benloso Building Hub.

This Privacy Policy explains how our cloud backend, database servers, and Android POS client software collect, process, synchronize, and protect merchant business data, transaction journals, and customer accounts.

SECTION 2

2. Information We Collect

To enable point-of-sale functionality, cash audits, multi-branch inventory control, and receipt printing, KenIT Solutions processes the following categories of information:

  • Merchant & Business Profile: Legal trading entity name, store branches, tax identification numbers (TIN), business physical addresses in Ghana and West Africa, administrator email addresses, and staff cashier accounts.
  • Sales & Transaction Journals: Itemized invoice line items, retail product barcodes, unit prices, applied promotional discounts, sales tax computations, and cashier shift logs.
  • Tender & Settlement Details: Method of payment (Cash, Ghana Cedi, Mobile Money including MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash, and AT Money, bank transfers, and customer credit/debt ledgers). Note: KenIT Solutions never stores sensitive customer payment credentials, mobile money PINs, or raw bank security codes.
  • Device & Telemetry Data: Android terminal model, operating system version, paired ESC/POS thermal printer hardware identifiers (Bluetooth/USB/Network), in-store register identification, and synchronization heartbeat timestamps.
SECTION 3

3. Offline Mode & Local On-Device Storage

KenIT Solutions Android POS applications are architected with offline-first resilience to support continuous commerce during power outages or intermittent telecommunications:

Encrypted Local SQLite Cache
When in-store Android POS registers operate without active internet connection, transactions, receipt numbers, and inventory deductions are stored locally within an encrypted application sandbox on the physical register.

As soon as network connectivity is re-established, the in-store terminal securely initiates an automatic batch synchronization to the central KenIT Cloud database over an encrypted TLS connection.

SECTION 4

4. Security & Access Controls

We enforce strict physical, technical, and operational safeguards to preserve the confidentiality and integrity of your retail records:

  • 256-Bit SSL/TLS Encryption: All client-server communications between mobile registers, web management portals, and cloud servers are encrypted using modern cryptographic protocols.
  • Role-Based Cashier Isolation: Cashiers cannot alter previous shift receipts, modify catalog costs, or view financial reports without elevated administrative permissions.
  • No Monetization of Merchant Data: KenIT Solutions never sells, rents, licenses, or trades merchant sales receipts, supplier rosters, or customer catalogs to advertisers, brokers, or external third parties.
SECTION 5

5. Hardware & Diagnostic Integrations

To ensure high reliability across demanding retail environments (e.g., supermarkets, hardware depots, building materials stores):

  • ESC/POS Thermal Printing Drivers: Communication with local thermal receipt printers (via Bluetooth, USB OTG, or Ethernet IP) occurs strictly locally between the Android POS register and the printer hardware.
  • Crash Reporting & Diagnostics: Anonymous system performance metrics and unhandled crash logs may be processed solely to diagnose software bugs, optimize receipt spooling, and improve terminal responsiveness.
SECTION 6

6. Merchant Rights & Data Retention

Store owners maintain sovereign control over their enterprise business data. At any time, authorized administrators may:

  • Export complete sales journals, inventory valuations, and customer ledgers in PDF or Excel/CSV formats.
  • Archive or deactivate former staff and cashier register profiles.
  • Request complete database backups or systematic account purging upon contract conclusion.
